Games 1 and 2 of this series took place in Boston, and the Cavaliers still won each of those games easily. When it was announced that Isaiah Thomas would miss the remainder of the postseason with a hip injury after Game 2, it looked all but over for the Celtics. Traveling back to Cleveland down 0-2 and without your best player? The writing was on the wall.

The Cavaliers lead the Celtics, 2-1, in Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics were even down 21 in the second half. But this Brad Stevens-led team of players never quit and after multiple beautiful late-game ATOs from Stevens, the Celtics beat the Cavaliers on a shot from Avery Bradley with 0.1 seconds to go. The Celtics had no business winning that game and the Cavaliers had no business losing it. But that’s the NBA. Strange things happen when players hit shots. Like Marcus Smart, who went 7 of 10 from the three-point line. It was nothing short of a miracle.
So do we have a series now? It’s hard to imagine the Cavaliers will let two games slip away at home, meaning Cleveland would take a 3-1 lead heading back to Boston to close out the series. But we’ve seen stranger things happen before. Tune in to see if Boston can pull off another win in Game 4.
