Manu Ginóbili turned back time with his beautiful dunk on Rockets

Long live Manu.

Ricky O'Donnell has covered basketball at all levels for more than a decade at SB Nation. He’s currently the Associate Director of Programming.

Manu Ginóbili is 39 years old. That makes him the second-oldest player in the NBA. Ginóbili could fly when he was young, but he’s been a below-the-rim player in the twilight of his career. He’s only dunked twice this season ... until Game 5 against the Houston Rockets.

Ginóbili threw down this beautiful slam in the second quarter against Houston. Without Tony Parker, the San Antonio Spurs will need a vintage Manu performance to keep up with the Rockets.

So far, it’s happening.
