LeBron James hugged Kevin Durant immediately after losing the NBA Finals

The King paid the proper respect to the new champion.

LeBron James and Kevin Durant had a long hard-fought NBA Finals duel in which Durant was the victor. It marks the newest Warriors’ star’s first championship, and The King made sure to show him the proper respect after the game.

James is now 3-5 in Finals appearances, and considering he’s been to seven straight, it’s safe to say this probably won’t be his last.

Considering the Warriors dynasty built behind Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Durant, and Klay Thompson, it probably won’t be their last either.
