After defeating the reigning champion Cleveland Cavaliers in five games to hoist the championship trophy at home, the Golden State Warriors will officially continue their NBA Finals celebration in downtown Oakland at 1 p.m. ET. Warriors parade 2017: Start time, TV schedule, map, and route for championship celebration
The newly crowned champions will celebrate their Finals victory in downtown Oakland with a parade that ends with a public rally near the lake.

The parade starts at 10 a.m. PT on Broadway and 11th street, heading north up Broadway. It takes a right on Grand Avenue, a right on Harrison Street, and then a left on 19th street. The parade then continues onto Lakeside Drive and ends on Oak Street with a procession to the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center, where fans are encouraged to arrive as early as 5 a.m. PT to rally.
Here is a map of the parade route.
The Warriors will celebrate after the most dominant playoff showing in NBA history. Golden State swept through the Trail Blazers, Jazz, and the Spurs before defeating the Cavaliers in five games to finish with a 16-1 postseason record. No team in playoff history had ever finished better than 15-1.
The Finals victory also signals a dynasty in the making. With Kevin Durant claiming Finals MVP honors and Stephen Curry set to sign a five-year, $207 “supermax” contract extension this summer, Golden State could keep its core intact for years to come.
Durant, for one, is excited for his first championship parade.
The weather also looks perfect in Oakland for a day spent outdoors:
