Indiana T-shirt shop gave away all of its Paul George merchandise for free

It’s better than burning jerseys!

Paul George had made it clear to the Pacers that in 2018 he will leave Indiana for most likely another warmer, prettier, more expensive destination, the Los Angeles Lakers. It was news that Pacers fans had been expecting for a while, but coming a year before the All-Star is even eligible to go look for a new team came as a surprise. Especially after he had just said the following at a charity softball game less than a week prior.

“It came from the heart, very sincere on wanting to bring that to Indiana...that’s where my heart’s always going to be at.”

So immediately after news broke on Sunday, a t-shirt shop in Indianapolis made quick moves. They gave away their entire stock of Paul George merchandise, for free.

The shirts “sold out” in less than two hours though, so there is no luck in grabbing one for yourself at this point. May I suggest this Lance Stephenson shirt instead? He left Indiana once too but he then realized the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

Or you could get the classic Reggie Miller shirt with the nice Flo-Jo design. The Pacers thought Paul George would become their all-timer, but it’ll always be this guy.

I’m personally a big fan of The Shop Indy, they held an NBA Jam Tourney a few weeks ago that I attended. I lost horribly, but it was fun anyway. So feel free to buy their stuff that also costs money.
