Imagine predicting the future and almost being right. In 2013, Twitter user @WWjayD_ tweeted that Lonzo Ball (@ZO2_) would be drafted by the Lakers first overall:

Lonzo was like “hell yeah.” Not really, but he certainly agreed. When this was tweeted, Lonzo was going into his sophomore year at Chino Hills high school.
Now, in 2017, Lonzo did get drafted by the Lakers! Just not first. They did not have the first pick, which went to the 76ers, who picked Markelle Fultz.
Well, LaVar Ball did say he had been planning for Lonzo to play for the Lakers since he was born, so I guess this tweet was the second to predict Ball’s pick.
