Draymond Green won Defensive Player of the Year at the NBA Awards, as many supposed he would. He accepted the award while wearing shorts and a blazer. Let’s just take some time to appreciate him.
Draymond Green was the star of the 1st-ever NBA Awards
He also won Defensive Player of the Year!
First off, Green showed up in his best pair of shorts and some house slippers/loafers embellished with a skull and crossbones. They’re kind of ugly but the more I look at them the more I think I need to buy a pair.
Second, he had to take a joke from Drake in which Drake roasted him for having his own podcast. C’mon Drake, lots of athletes like to enter the media sphere from time to time. Right, Kevin Durant?
Dray got him back, though, by continuously making fun of Drake’s outfit on Snapchat.
According to Green, Drake’s shoes were no good. His khakis were “scrubs.” And as for Drake’s little cardigan number, Draymond could only laugh.
Laugh all you want, Draymond. Congratulations on Defensive Player of the Year.
