Draymond Green couldn’t believe he got a technical foul for elbowing Iman Shumpert in the head*

*The technical was later rescinded. Or something.

Draymond Green is a vocal player whose energy sometimes gets the best of him. His rep also often puts him on the wrong end of some calls. That isn’t what happened in Game 4 of the NBA Finals as he blatantly clocked Iman Shumpert in the face during a jump ball, was called for a foul, and then complained about it.

The hit was really clear, and though it may not have been intentional, it definitely happened.

Green was called for a technical foul after he complained about the call. Turns out, the refs didn’t mean to give Draymond a technical. They said the technical was actually on Steve Kerr, but no one found this out until Green received another (a first?) technical later in the game.

Listen, the entire situation was really weird.

This is how Draymond reacted to the first call.

Green would have been ejected with two technicals but stayed in the game because of first one went to Kerr. You can bet this is going to be talked about for a long time.
