Las Vegas Summer League continued to provide plenty of entertainment on Tuesday night. Some of the bigger names like Lonzo Ball and Markelle Fultz weren’t on the floor, but the night wasn’t short of star performances.
3 winners from Tuesday night’s Summer League Games
Donovan Mitchell set a Summer League 2017 record with 37 points.

Forbes is having a heck of a time at Summer League. He now has 70 points in his past two games, including 35 on Tuesday.
Forbes had a fairly efficient night shooting, going 11-of-26 from the field. Where he really stood out was behind the arc, where he hit six three pointers and made all seven of his free throws. Forbes is doing a little bit of everything out there, also grabbing five boards and dishing out four assists.
Forbes will continue to compete to keep his spot on the Spurs’ roster. Forbes has $1.31 million left on his salary for next season, but that won’t be guaranteed to him until Jan. 10. All the more reason this Summer League outing has been so important for him.
Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz
Mitchell set a Summer League scoring record for 2017 by dropping 37 points on the Memphis Grizzlies. Not only did he put up huge scoring numbers, he also had eight steals. EIGHT STEALS!
Mitchell also went 14-of-16 from the free-throw line. Utah lost, but Mitchell showed plenty of promise on the offensive and defensive ends.
Antonio Blakeney, Chicago Bulls
Lauri Markkanen and Denzel Valentine both had solid games for the Bulls on Tuesday, but it was Antonio Blakeney who stole the show.
The third quarter belonged to Blakeney. Blakeney opened the second half by nailing a three to boost the Bulls’ lead to 19 points, but then the Bulls failed to score any points for the next four minutes. In fact, none of the Bulls other than Blakeney managed to score any points during the entire third quarter, as the Wizards completely bottled up Markkanen and Valentine. The Wizards whittled down the Bulls’ lead to single digits, but Blakeney roared back over the last five minutes to score seven points to keep the Bulls somewhat comfortably in front. Blakeney went into the final quarter of play leading the team in scoring with 21 points on 8-15 shooting (4-5 from deep), and the Bulls subsequently entered the last 10 minutes with a 62-53 lead.
