The play-in round for Las Vegas Summer League kicked off Wednesday night with eight games throughout the day. While there was plenty to be excited about it, was the night cap game that stole the show. The Lakers and Sixers came down to the wire with Lonzo Ball leading the Lakers to a 103-102 win.

Lonzo Ball, Los Angeles Lakers
Ball was spectacular, driving the Lakers to a comeback win against the Sixers and advancing them to the next round of the Summer League playoffs. He finished the night with an impressive 36 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds, and five steals. This was the Ball Lakers fans have been so excited about adding to their team.
The Los Angeles Lakers got their first real taste of Ball dominating a game of basketball as the No. 2 pick led the purple and gold to an exciting 103-102 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Ball did it all, scoring, passing, defending, and getting to the free-throw line.
Ball made his mark on the game immediately, dishing four quick assists to start the night and ended the first quarter with six dimes in the bag. It was the most complete game yet from Ball, showcasing he can, in fact, score the basketball.

The Atlanta Hawks may be done in the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League, but rookie John Collins made a lasting impression in their final game. He finished the day with 25 points and nine rebounds in 25 minutes.
The most spectacular part of his game was this dunk in the fourth quarter. This was arguably the best dunk of the entire Summer League. Hawks fans should be excited about this rookie.
Patrick McCaw and Jordan Bell, Golden State Warriors
The Warriors played the Timberwolves for the second night in a row, this time to keep their Summer League tournament hopes alive. On Tuesday night, the Warriors lost in double overtime also known as “Sudden Death” in Summer League. On Wednesday, they bounced back to a 77-69 win, advancing in the playoffs.
The Warriors were led by McCaw, who finished with 26 points, shooting 10-of-16 from the field. He also dished out nine assists.
Rookie Jordan Bell was also impressive, grabbing 16 rebounds and also handing out three blocks.
