It was a night of consolation games during NBA Summer League but that didn’t stop us from getting some great performances in Las Vegas. Vegas is a fun time for players and fans alike, but it’s also taxing for teams. Especially one like the Warriors, who just capped off five games in five nights. They ended their Summer League experience on a high note, beating the Clippers 109-100 behind a standout performance from Dylan Ennis.
2 great performances from Friday night’s Summer League games
It was a night of consolation games but that didn’t stop teams from playing hard.

After scoring just 21 points in his first five games, Ennis exploded for 20 points in the second quarter alone against the L.A. Clippers in the Golden State Warriors’ 109-100 win to finish up their run in the 2017 Las Vegas Summer League.
Ennis finished the game with a game-high 35 points, including a Vegas Summer League record eight threes. In addition to setting the 3-point record, Ennis’ 35 points is the second most points scored in a game in Vegas this summer so far.
Ennis went into halftime with 23 points after shooting 6-for-9 from the 3-point line in the first half. As this was the final game for both teams after losses in the second round of the Las Vegas Summer League Tournament, Ennis provided just the type of spark this completely meaningless game needed.
Even more impressive? Dylan Ennis’ career high in college was 22 points. In Friday night’s game he scored 23 points in one half. The joys of Summer League.
Chicago Bulls Summer League team has best night yet
The 76ers may have been shorthanded, but that doesn’t take away from how well the Bulls played on Friday night. They won 99-82, while also knocking down 17 three-pointers during the game.
This was easily the best offensive game the Bulls have played as a team in all five of their summer league contests, primarily because each member of the starting five all saved their best performances for the final game. Denzel Valentine finished with 21 points on 9-17 shooting to go along with six assists and five rebounds. Ryan Arcidiacono played easily his most active game of the summer with a line of 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists after not doing much further than handling the ball in his previous contests. Brady Heslip exploded from deep to lead the Bulls in scoring with 28 points on 10-18 shooting, which included him hitting eight of his twelve three point attempts after missing his first three shots of the game from distance. Chris Walkernarrowly missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds, and Duje Dukan scored 12 of his own points while dishing four assists.
