Trilogy and the 3 Headed Monsters will advance to the BIG3 Championship game on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Both teams earned victories in the first round of the playoffs on Sunday, Aug. 20 at the Key Arena in Seattle.

Trilogy and the 3 Headed Monsters will collide in the inaugural BIG3 Championship game.


3’s Company, Tri-State, Ball Hogs, and the Killer 3s didn’t make the playoffs, but all four teams competed against one another at the Key Arena, as well.
These games already took place, but FS1, like every week, will air all four games at 8 p.m. ET on Monday. You can also livestream the action by using the Fox Sports Go app.
Playoff Results
Trilogy beats Ghost Ballers
Behind Rashad McCants’ 19 points, Trilogy knocked off the Ghost Ballers, 50-39. Al Harrington chipped in with an extra 14 points, but the entire team didn’t shoot well from the field, connecting on 47 percent of its shots.
The Ghost Ballers fought hard in this matchup, but they couldn’t hit shots as well. Even though Ricky Davis and Ivan Johnson combined for 26 points, the team as a whole only made 12 of its 31 shot attempts.
3 Headed Monsters squeezes past Power
Rashard Lewis and Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf combined for for 37 points to help the 3 Headed Monsters defeat Power. No one else on the team scored more than six points. However, the team only connected on 35.7 of its shot attempts. But Lewis and Abdul-Rauf did just enough to lead their team to victory.
As for Power, three players scored more than 10 points. DeShawn Stevenson recorded a team-high 14 points, and Cuttino Mobley added an extra 13. Jerome Williams pitched in with 12 points, but the team only shot 31.4 percent from the field.
The two remaining games
3’s Company defeat Tri-State
Al Harrington scored a game-high 24 points in 3’s Company’s 51-48 win over Tri-State. Andre Owens also added an extra 16 points. As for Tri-State, Mike James and Lee Nailon combined for 35 points, but their shooting performance wasn’t enough to lead their team to victory.
Ball Hogs take care of Killer 3s
Derrick Byars collected a team-high 21 points, which is one of the main reasons why the Ball Hogs beat the Killer 3s, 52-46. Xavier Silas and Brian Scalabrine combined for 25 points, and the Ball Hogs shot over 50 percent from the field.
As for the Killer 3, Stephen Jackson was the only player who scored with ease, racking up a game-high 27 points. No one else on the team scored more than 10 points. The Killer 3s shot well below 50 percent from the field.
