Kyrie Irving’s trade had NBA Emoji Twitter fired up once again

NBA players love their emojis <3

The Kyrie Irving trade saga ended rather swiftly after a month of wondering. In late July, Irving made it clear to the Cavaliers that he wanted a trade out of Cleveland and out from under LeBron James’ shadow. We didn’t hear much about where he would go until the trade was nearly complete, sending Irving to Boston in return for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the 2018 Brooklyn Nets pick.

It was shocking for fans everywhere, including NBA players themselves. And what’s the best way to share you feelings? Emojis, of course.

Trevor Booker didn’t use an emoji but we are all Trevor Booker at the end of the day.

No one loves emojis more than NBA stars. Whether it’s trade deadline rumors or the DeAndre Jordan saga, emojis are a way of life for the league these days.
