The Kyrie Irving trade saga ended rather swiftly after a month of wondering. In late July, Irving made it clear to the Cavaliers that he wanted a trade out of Cleveland and out from under LeBron James’ shadow. We didn’t hear much about where he would go until the trade was nearly complete, sending Irving to Boston in return for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and the 2018 Brooklyn Nets pick.
