Kristaps Porzingis is responsible for 3 of Eurobasket’s 6 best plays so far

UNICORN BACK.

NBA players are showing out in the first three days of the 2017 Eurobasket. The list, of course, starts with Latvia’s Kristaps Porzingis, who’s scored 45 points over his first two games and swatted a number of shots into oblivion on the way. The poor Belgian team felt his wrath from the get-go.

Porzingis is joined by a number of NBA players at the event, including Marc Gasol, Pau Gasol, Evan Fournier, rookie Lauri Markkanen, Goran Dragic, Dennis Schroder, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jonas Valanciunas, Ricky Rubio, projected top-5 2018 first-round pick Luka Doncic and a ton more. Playing against inferior international talent, the NBA players are capitalizing on the chance to add to their highlight reel.

Here are the best plays we’ve seen so far:

  1. Kristaps Porzingis

AHHHH.

Porzingis is back, and even after two full seasons of watching him play, it’s still shocking to watch a person of his frame get up like that. He’s been the posterboy for Eurobasket so far, and he’s all over this list.

2. Marc Gasol

Uh, oh. Marc Gasol is double-teamed in the post. What will he do? ... Chuck a pass behind his head, apparently. LOL Marc, come on.

3. Goran Dragic

Oof, those ankles are broken. Dragic has been a star in the early going, and teaming up with Doncic, Slovenia’s been a team to watch.

4. Kristaps Porzingis (again)

THAT SWAT!

5. Kristaps Porzingis (again again)

How can a 7’3 man do that with the ball?

6. Tomas Satoransky

Is anyone going to guard this man? Satoransky FLEW.
