Klay Thompson was the most lit and meme-worthy athlete of the summer

It’s officially the first day of fall, which means you’re out of time to have a better summer than Klay Thompson. He won. Again.

This man was lit at literally any and everything he did from the time he won another NBA championship, to the time he danced like a teen at a club in China. Klay’s been LIVING HIS BEST DAMN LIFE. And he’s become a meme (in the good way) because of it!

There was plenty of talk about what Thompson was going to have to give up on the basketball court when Kevin Durant came to Golden State. That was nonsense. Now Klay’s doing it up on and off the court in spite of y’all.

Let’s remember the glorious days of summer Klay.

After signing a shoe deal with Anta worth as much as $80 million, Thompson went on a tour in China. It birthed the greatest recorded NBA player dance at a club ever.

I’m still weak from this, Klay, my chest.

It didn’t stop there.

He did CHOREOGRAPHED DANCES too.

The man was having so much fun that even this horrendously embarrassing missed dunk couldn’t end his happiness.

So this is a farewell to summer Klay. We’ve loved you and your dancing, dunking, and robbing?! ways. You were a joy to all in the months you weren’t paid to be, and we owe you for that.
