NBA All-Star Game 2018 roster announcement: Time, TV schedule, and live stream for captains and starters
The All-Star Game rosters start to take shape Thursday night.

The normal East-vs.West format in the NBA All-Star Game is no more. In October, the NBA announced that it would adopt a draft-oriented format for this annual fun-filled game. You can watch the All-Star game roster announcement at 6 p.m. ET on TNT (live stream).
The two players with the most votes in their respective conferences will become team captains. For the second year in a row, fans, the media, and NBA players will vote to select the All-Star starters.
Like last year, fans will make up 50 percent of the vote, but the players and media will count for only 25 percent apiece. You can expect players like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, and Giannis Antetokounmpo to start in the All-Star game.
Curry and James accumulated the most votes in the second round of fan returns on Jan. 11, according to Gabrielle McMillen of the Sporting News. James racked up 1,622,838 votes in the Eastern Conference, and Curry collected 1,369,658 in the Western Conference. The deadline for ballot submissions was Jan. 15, so it’s no surprise that James and Curry will serve as captains in this year’s much-anticipated All-Star game.
