Blake Griffin was traded in a blockbuster deal to the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. After signing a five-year, $173 million deal in July with the Clippers, by January he is headed for Detroit. It was shocking to anyone who follows the NBA and apparently pretty shocking to Griffin himself.

This isn’t the first time Griffin has been an exceptional member of basketball twitter. There was the tweet he sent after the faux Clippers-Rockets locker room fight. We thought the entire thing was chaos and he agreed.
And in 2015, while rumors swirled that the Clippers were holding DeAndre Jordan hostage during a crazy free agency night, he tweeted this chair.
