LeBron James and Kevin Durant locking down Steph Curry to win a game is a play that should strictly be reserved for NBA 2K considering how unstoppable those two are. It’s tough to think of a better duo.

Given the new format of the 2018 All-Star Game, we were gifted to witness the two together in real life.
There may not be two players in the world better to try and defend Curry, and they are his teammate, Durant, and his annual Finals opponent in James. Up 148-145, the two knew he was going to try to tie it with a miracle shot.
They chased Curry around the top of the key into the corner and didn’t give him an inch of room past their 14 feet worth of wingspan or so. Curry tried to turn his body in every way possible to find any room to launch. He couldn’t, and deterred to DeMar DeRozan, who was useless as well.
Can you imagine Durant and James teaming up for an entire season?
The defensive effort secured James’ MVP award, and he finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.
