The Golden State Warriors will continue their NBA Finals celebration with a parade through downtown Oakland at 2 p.m. ET. The celebration will be televised locally through NBC Sports Bay Area and available for online streaming through NBCSportsBayArea.com and NBC Sports app.

Fans in Oakland and surrounding areas can experience the celebration in person.

The parade route

The parade starts at 11 a.m. PT on Broadway at 11th Street. It will turn right on Harrison to 19th Street, right on Lakeside Drive and end on Oak and 13th Street. Fans can begin lining up for the parade as early as 6:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday, as there are an expected 1 million fans expected to show up for the celebration parade.

The parade map

The Warriors went 16-5 in the postseason, defeating the Spurs, Pelicans, Rockets and finally the Cavaliers in the NBA Finals in a four-game sweep. On top of a strong postseason performance, Kevin Durant is celebrating his back-to-back Finals MVP honors.

In the midst of celebrating a successful postseason and MVP honors for Durant, there is one major change to this year’s celebration parade compared to last year’s that Warriors fans should be aware of: there will be no post-event rally. Instead, the parade is designed to be more interactive, allowing for fans to participate in the excitement throughout the parade route.

If you’re a Warriors’ fan or just trying to get around Oakland, you should be aware of the street closures for the celebration. But don’t let it take away from your excitement. Below is a list of those streets.
