Kawhi Leonard says thank you to the Spurs in the most Kawhi Leonard way possible

THANK YOU.

Kawhi Leonard released his first statement since being traded to the Toronto Raptors and there are a lot of THANK YOUS, with a healthy dose of awkwardness.

I had a few immediate observations after seeing this:

  • I wish I was cool enough to have an logo of my initials to end the letter with.
  • I like that Kawhi used the same text color that I do when my printer runs out of black ink.
  • I respect going for the Times New Roman. It’s such a basic font that it’s become a boutique font at this point.
  • I don’t want to be mean, but how in the world did this take weeks to come up with?

The Spurs haven’t responded. We’ll see if they stay a little salty.
