The Celebrity All-Star Game looked like a blowout, but the Home Team blew a 20-point lead before holding on for a last-second 82-80 win. It was a very fun, high-profile basketball to kick-off All-Star Weekend. And the MVP of the game was social media influencer Famous Los.
The 2019 Celebrity All-Star Game was so much fun
Who’s in this game, anyway?

Let it be known: I called Los as the MVP. Boy can actually play ball. He matched up with Quavo, and Quavo didn’t want any problems. Los played college basketball, and it showed in this game.
Los won MVP, but there were several celebrities on the floor, like Quavo, Ray Allen, A’ja Wilson, Hasan Minhaj, and freakin Ronnie 2k. Dawn Staley and Sue Bird coached against each other.
Oh, and there was a damn four-point line. It was so much fun to watch. Here were the moments you missed in case you couldn’t watch:
IS THAT DR. OZ?!?!
Yeah — Dr. Oz was in the game.
RAY ALLEN’S STILL GOT IT
Ray Allen’s retired, but you’d better believe he can still hoop.
Famous Los is my MVP pick, and his team is up 23-10 right now lol
END of Q1: Home 30, Away 22
This is what you expected in a celebrity All-Star Game: a couple people who can hoop and a bunch who think they can but really can’t. Hopefully this one gets more competitive in the fourth quarter.
FAMOUS LOS FOR MVP!
If you don’t know who Famous Los is, it’s OK. This ain’t for you.
My man just got the first 5-point play in league history.
Ray Allen is cookin
QUAVO FOR 4!
3rd quarter
Just give Famous Los the MVP, guys. He’s hit not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 4-pointers today. He. Will. Not. Be. Denied.
Somebody get Bad Bunny up outta here, y’all.
GET A’JA WILSON THE BALL
End of Q3: Home 72, Away 54
This one is ugly. Ain’t no comeback today.
RAY ALLEN STILL GOT IT
Can we have a brief moment of silence for Eric’s jokes:
SCORE UPDATE: Home 81, Away 73
This one’s not over!
UPDATE: It’s 81 to 79! A 2-point game. Nah, this is wild.
There are a number of other participants in this game who I will Google in a few minutes, but let’s focus on the aforementioned stars first.
First off, QUAVO!, the Migos guy, is legit. He won MVP at the last Celebrity game.
Please watch him play against a team with Shaquille O’Neal’s son on it:
Wilson is the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team’s star, and the league’s reigning Rookie of the Year. The 6’4 big can cook anyone:
Hasan Minhaj is the funny Netflix guy, who also played in the 2017 game:
Ronnie 2k is the guy who all the NBA players yell at when their ratings in the “NBA 2K” game are too low. His shot looks slow, but I thiiink he has range?
And Ray freakin’ Allen!
