Say It Ain’t So, Lacedarius! Baylor All-American Suspended Following Arrest

According to CBS Sports, Lacedarius Dunn has been charged with aggravated assault against his girlfriend. The charge is a felony in Texas, and would likely result in his expulsion from Baylor if proven true.

Elsewhere, according to the Sporting News, the news gets worse. Mike Decourcy reports that Waco police are saying that Dunn punched his girlfriend in the face, breaking her jaw. That’s second-degree assault in Texas, and also just completely indefensible if true.

The details are still sketchy at this point, but according to numerous reports, Baylor guard Lacedarius Dunn has been suspended indefinitely following an arrest outside Waco, Texas.

The school has not given any further details as to Dunn’s transgression, and again, the suspension is indefinite for now. But if it’s something that becomes serious, it would leave Baylor without its best player, and one of the most talented players in the entire country.
