Michigan State has finally put Chaminade in the rearview mirror a bit, as they now have a 63-53 lead with 11:55 remaining.
Michigan State Vs. Chaminade: Spartans Trying To Pull Away
Chaminade has been a terrible host tonight as they’ve made Michigan State scratch and claw for everything the Spartans have gotten. A solid run from the Spartans midway through this second half have given them a bit of a cushion.
Both teams have played hard all night, but the Spartans have started to play smarter and have gotten stops on the defensive end. Those stops have keyed the 15-1 run the Spartans are currently on.
Kalin Lucas’ 19 points lead the way for Michigan State thus far, but Korie Lucious has had a great second half and currently has 11 points.
