The story of the first half applied to the second as well: the Memphis Tigers forced the Kansas Jayhawks into turnovers left and right, but couldn’t shoot well enough to take advantage. The Tigers only hit 37.5 percent of their shots, with their hot start from behind the three-point line going ice cold as the night went on, while Kansas drilled 57.1 percent. Kansas was aided by wide-open looks in the paint all night long, as Memphis couldn’t solve the Jayhawks’ screens.
Memphis Vs. Kansas Final Score: Jayhawks Stay Unbeaten, Outlast Tigers 81-68

The 8-0 Jayhawks next welcome the Colorado St. Rams, while the 7-1 Tigers host the Austin Peay Governors.
