St. John’s Defeats Georgetown: VIDEO Of Johnnies’ Game-Winning Tip-In

Georgetown clung to a one-point lead over St. John’s with 19.8 seconds left in the game when Dwight Hardy took the inbound pass at the top of the key. After a couple dribbles up near the halfcourt line, Hardy sized up his Hoya opposition and decided his best plan of attack was to simply blow past him.

And so he did.

Hardy should thank his lucky stars Justin Brownlee was there to put in the tip, putting the Storm up 59-58. Austin Freeman’s forced jumper was blocked and the Storm took control for good in their eventual 61-58 win over the No. 13 Hoyas.

The real winner tonight? Bill Raftery, who gets to pull out “get the lingerie off the deck” for all the kids watching at home.
