Arkansas-Little Rock may be one of the smallest and lowest-seeded schools in the 2011 NCAA Tournament, but don’t count the Trojans as a sure-thing loss in the first round. Quick guards and deadeye shooting make UALR an unusually good low seed, and should the Sun Belt Tournament champions get hot, David might just topple Goliath in the latest marvelous upset in March Madness lore.

Key wins: Arkansas-Little Rock’s 69-67 win over Tulsa on Dec. 5 was the high-water mark of their regular season, which ended with a 15-16 record. But the Trojans blazed through the Sun Belt Conference tournament with four wins in four days from March 5 to March 8, capping it with a dramatic 64-63 win over a North Texas team that had defeated UALR in Denton just one week prior.
Key losses: A 92-79 loss to Sun Belt cellar-dweller South Alabama on Feb. 24 was the lowest point in the Trojans’ 3-7 slump to finish their regular season.
Players to watch: Dynamic guards Solomon Bozeman and Daylon Guy have fantastic names and the game to go with them. Bozeman is six feet tall if you believe a media guide, can snipe (46.3 percent from three) and slash (7.5 fouls drawn per 40 minutes), and could be the Trojans' saving grace in a shootout. Guy's not as good, but he's even shorter (five-foot-ten) and quicker, and better at picking pockets, with steals on 2.7 percent of opponent possessions.
