The Missouri Tigers defeated the Iowa State Cyclones on Wednesday night. The team bounced back from Saturday’s loss to the Kansas State Wildcats.
The Cyclones did enter the locker room at halftime with a 38-36 lead, but the Tigers fought to 40-31 advantage in the second half. Six of seven Tigers to play in the game scored at least 10 points, led by Matt Pressey's 14 points. Steve Moore and Ricardo Ratliffe combined for 22 points and 17 rebounds. The team shot 51 percent from the field, but was just 5-of-21 from three-point territory.
The Cyclones hit 12 of its 23 three-point attempts, four each from Scott Christopherson and Chris Allen. Christopherson and Allen were the team's leading scorers with 19 and 17 points, respectively. Royce White added 16 points.
