No. 11 Indiana vs. Nebraska: Cornhuskers Upset Hoosiers, 70-69

The No. 11 Indiana Hoosiers lost to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, 70-69 on Wednesday night.

The No. 11 Indiana Hoosiers blew a 13-point second half lead on the road, losing 70-69 to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, who picked up their biggest win in their first season in the Big Ten Conference.

Nebraska was paced by senior guard Bo Spencer, had a game-high 23 points on eight-of-19 shooting, including four-of-12 on three-point attempts. The Cornhuskers got 10 points off the bench from both Dylan Talley and Jorge Brian Diaz, whose pair of free throws with 11 seconds remaining turned out to be the deciding points as the Hoosiers could not score on their final possession. Talley, a 6-foot-5 guard, had a team-high nine rebounds, including four on the offensive glass. All four of Diaz's rebounds were on the offensive end.

Freshman forward Cody Zeller had a team-high 18 points for the Hoosiers, who have now lost three straight to fall to 15-4 overall and 3-4 within the Big Ten. Indiana hosts the Penn St. Nittany Lions on Saturday. Nebraska improved to 10-8 and 2-5 in the Big Ten. The Cornhuskers host No. 6 Ohio St. Buckeyes on Saturday.
