In a game that was tight and contentious throughout, Cincinnati got a close, critical 60-56 win over No. 17 Louisville at home Thursday.

Cashmere Wright led all scorers with 22 points for the Bearcats and added five rebounds and five assists, making up for a Cincy starting lineup that had a player post zero points. Sean Kilpatrick and Yancy Gates added 12 and 10 points for Cincinnati, and the Bearcats made 11 threes to Louisville's one.

The Cardinals had four players score in double figures -- Peyton Siva had 14 points, and Chane Behanan, Gorgui Dieng, and Russ Smith all had 11 points each -- but made just three field goals in the game's final 15 minutes, all coming from Siva.

Neither team led by double-digits at any point in the game.
