No. 17 UNLV Vs. Colorado State: Rams Upset Rebels, 66-59

The Colorado St. Rams battled back in the second half against the UNLV Rebels and pulled off the 66-59 upset.

The Colorado St. Rams are likely to find themselves as one of the last four teams in the NCAA Tournament when the latest bracketology projections come out on Thursday. They upset the No. 17 UNLV Rebels Wednesday night, 66-59.

It was a tale of two halves for the Rams. Down at halftime, 41-26, Colorado State flipped things around in the second half, 40-18. In the final seven minutes of the game, the victory could have gone either way, but Dorian Green and Pierce Hornung were key to keeping the lead. Green scored a team-high 16 points, though he misfired on all four of his three-point attempts. Four of Hornung's six points came in the final three minutes, both tip-ins.

UNLV lost the shooting battle, hitting on just 39.3 percent of its shots (Colorado State wasn't much better, though, at 43.4 percent). Oscar Bellfield scored 17 points while Anthony Marshall added 11. Mike Moser had a tough night with only five points on 1-of-10 shooting from the field.

Colorado State closes out the regular season with a road game against the Air Force Falcons on Saturday. UNLV hosts the Wyoming Cowboys on Saturday.
