The Oregon Ducks' hopes of an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament were ended when they fell early in the Pac-12 Tournament to the Colorado Buffaloes, but on Tuesday night, they looked like a team still motivated to have some success in the postseason. They put in an excellent performance against the LSU Tigers, dumping them out of the NIT with a 96-76 win in Eugene.

LSU had four players score in double figures, but they didn't get too much from their bench while Anthony Hickey struggled, scoring just two points on 1-4 shooting. Center Justin Hamilton was LSU's best player with 21 points and nine rebounds.
Oregon shot 59 percent from the floor to LSU's 43 percent, and Devoe Joseph was their best performer with 25 points on 11-16 shooting. The Ducks took the lead for the first time with 14:40 remaining in the first half and never let go, coasting through the second half after going into the locker room up 50-33.
Oregon moves on to face the Iowa Hawkeyes, who defeated Dayton in an earlier first round game.
