NIT Tournament 2012, Drexel Vs. UCF: Dragons Dominate Wire-To-Wire In 81-56 Victory

The Drexel Dragons look like they are out to prove that they were badly snubbed when they were denied an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. They took the lead over a very respectable Central Florida Knights team less than 15 seconds into the game and slowly expanded that lead until the very end of the game. They were dominant, but nothing looked like it was an unrepeatable anomaly. They were simply the best version of themselves in an 81-56 win.

Chris Fouch led the Dragons with 19 points, while Frantz Massenat put in a spectacular performance off the bench with 18 points and nine assists. In total, Drexel got 45 points from its bench. The Dragons recorded 18 assists to UCF's five, turned the ball over just seven times and shot 11-of-24 from beyond the arc.

Drexel moves on to face the Northern Iowa Panthers.
