Baylor’s Quincy Miller Will Enter NBA Draft

Baylor’s Quincy Miller will become the first “one-and-done” in program history when he declares himself eligible for the NBA draft.

Baylor’s Quincy Miller plans to hire an agent and declare himself eligible for the NBA draft, according to Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports.

Miller originally announced on April 10 that he would be returning to Baylor for at least one more season.

The Big 12’s co-Freshman of the Year, Miller averaged 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds while starting 35 of 37 games for the Bears in 2011-12. He helped lead Baylor to the Elite Eight, where it lost to eventual national champion Kentucky.

Miller’s decision makes him the first “one-and-done” player in the history of Baylor basketball. He joins sophomore Perry Jones III in leaving BU after helping the Bears amass a school record 30 wins last season.

Miller is expected to hire Dwon Clifton as his agent.
