Illinois Vs. Michigan State, Live: Spartans Recover Fumble, Extend Lead To 16-6

In the third quarter on Saturday, Illinois’ passing game showed some fireworks, but only for a few seconds. Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase found A.J. Jenkins 39 yards down the field, but the ball was knocked out of Jenkins’ arm, and the ball was recovered by Michigan State.

The No. 13 Spartans then mounted a drive that ended with a 32-yard field goal from Dan Conroy. This puts Conroy at 3-for-3 on the day, and Michigan State leads at home, 16-6. Stay tuned to this StoryStream for updates.
