In a bit of an unexpected turn, ESPN Radio is apparently reporting that Oklahoma will lead the BCS rankings when they are released later tonight.

That would be a bit of a surprise, though Oklahoma’s schedule has certainly been formidable with wins over Florida State and Texas. It also serves as a reminder that margin of victory is not part of the BCS formula.
