You may have seen the score for today’s TCU-Colorado State game creep across a bottom line and wondered why it was so narrowly in TCU’s favor. Well, it’s certainly not because Colorado State is good.
TCU Suffocating Colorado State, Producing High-Grade Rams Futility
↵
TCU's doing a great impression of Eric Crouch-era Nebraska and threshing the Rams on the ground. In the early minutes of the fourth quarter, the Horned Frogs have 290 yards on 42 carries, which is helping make up for the paltry 70 passing yards Andy Dalton has racked up. But the defense is destroying Colorado State.
↵The Rams have three first downs. One of them just happened on their second play of more than 10 yards today; it got Colorado State into TCU territory for the first time. The Rams have six three and outs, and another drive ended on the third play, a fumble. TCU isn’t proving a lot today, but the Horned Frogs are definitely confirming that Colorado State is one of the worst teams in college football.
