Any pretensions of defense have largely fallen by the wayside in Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Robert Woods' 56-yard kickoff return to UW's 38 gives him 124 yards in less than one and a half quarters. Five plays later, Marc Tyler's 8-yard touchdown run cuts the Huskies' lead to a field goal. With 9:14 remaining in the half, UW leads USC, 17-14.
