Notre Dame Shuts Down Anemic Boston College

to a 31-13 romp over the

Boston College Eagles

in non-conference action.Crist threw two scoring passes and ran for a touchdown for Notre Dame (2-3), which beat the Eagles for the second consecutive season.Bobby Swigert made seven catches for 137 yards and a touchdown in defeat for Boston College (2-2). Backup quarterback Mike Marscovetra threw two costly interceptions for the Eagles.Notre Dame got off to a tremendous start in the contest, scoring three unanswered touchdowns in the first 13 minutes.
