It’s difficult to ask for a much more heads-up defensive play than the one pulled off by Iowa’s Tyler Sash and Micah Hyde. Late in the first quarter, Sash intercepted a throw from Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins. From there, he and Micah Hyde seemed to immediately transfer into “quarterback/running back” mode, as Sash flipped a lateral to Hyde.
