As expected, Oregon also made things look relatively easy on its first drive of the game, covering 76 yards on nine plays for the game’s first touchdown. Darron Thomas hit Jeff Maehl for the 15-yard touchdown strike. As they did in the game against UCLA last week, the Ducks decided to go for two. They got it and now lead 8-3, while also keeping alive their point-a-minute pace for the season.
