Alabama Vs. Mississippi State: Mark Ingram Touchdown Has Crimson Tide Up Big

First, Marquis Maze raced up the right sideline for a touchdown. Then, on the next play, Mark Ingram took a swing pass to the house.

The rout is on in Tuscaloosa, and not just because the Crimson Tide have figured out that penalties sometimes allow teams to score touchdowns on consecutive plays.

Maze’s punt return, which would have been his second touchdown of the night, was negated by a penalty. Ingram caught a swing pass on the next play and steamed around end to the house, sprung by a Julio Jones block.

It’s now 20-3 at Bryant-Denny Stadium, and Mississippi State looks alternately harmless on offense and helpless on defense. That’s not good, considering how eager Alabama seems to be to bury this squad.
