With many of Week 13’s college football contests already completed, the final standings of four BCS conferences have yet to be determined. Here’s where we’re at with the AQ races heading into Saturday afternoon:
ACC: Your 2010 Coastal Division champ is already determined to be Virginia Tech; the Hokies will play either NC State or Florida State in Charlotte next week.
Big 12: Nebraska has clinched the North with Friday night’s pummeling of Colorado. A three-way tie is still possible in the South, but Oklahoma State will meet the Huskers in the conference title game with a win over the Sooners tonight.
Big East: Connecticut is in the driver’s seat following Pitt’s faceplant in the Backyard Brawl, but West Virginia could still slide into a BCS berth with a Huskies loss.Big Ten: That three-way scrum atop the conference standings still holds, with both Ohio State and Michigan State leading their opponents at halftime. Wisconsin will be the likely Rose Bowl combatant with a good win over Northwestern this afternoon.
Pac-10: It’s all Oregon after last night’s shellacking of Arizona.
SEC: Auburn and South Carolina clinched their division titles well in advance of today’s contests, and will meet in the Georgia Dome for the championship next Saturday.
