    No. 20 Virginia Tech Holds Off Georgia Tech, Wins 28-21

    The Virginia Tech Hokies have now won seven straight games for the first time since 2005, something not many people expected to see after the Hokies lost the first two games of the season to Boise State and James Madison. Virginia Tech still has a solid lead in the ACC Coastal Division, but Georgia Tech didn’t make it easy.

    The Yellow Jackets stormed out to a quick 14-0 lead thanks to two Josh Nesbitt touchdown runs, one covering 71 yards. The Hokies were able to get within one score before the half after a Ryan Williams 4 yard rush. Georgia Tech went into the locker room with a seven point lead, but they lost their leader for the rest of the game when Josh Nesbitt broke his arm after throwing an interception late in the second quarter.
