It took nearly the entire game, but on Saturday, No. 16 Iowa finally scored its first touchdown of the day against unranked Indiana. With 2:50 left in the fourth quarter, Hawkeyes quarterback Ricky Stanzi found receiver Marvin McNutt for a 52-yard touchdown to take an 18-13 lead. Iowa then tried to bring the lead to seven points, but the ensuing two-point conversion failed.

Stanzi had another big day yardage-wise, going 22-for-33 with 290 yards, but until this touchdown, the Hoosiers successfully kept him from throwing it into the end zone. The running game came through as well, as Marcus Coker took the ball 22 times for 129 yards.
On the Indiana side of the ball, quarterback Ben Chappell threw the ball for 222 yards and ran for a touchdown. The Hoosiers’ winless Big Ten record this season grows to 0-5.
