TCU Vs. Utah: Turnovers For Everyone!

The outstandingly-named Shaky Smithson gets off Utah's best play of the game, opening the second half with a 47-yard kickoff return. For his troubles, he gets two straight incompletions and an interception from Jordan Wynn. The pick is returned for 57 yards, and Ed Wesley takes it the remaining four on the next play for a touchdown.

It's getting laughable out there for Utah fans: On the next play from scrimmage, Wynn hits DeVonte Christopher with a 14-yard pass -- and Christopher fumbles deep in his own territory. Two plays later, TC's Matthew Tucker fumbles it right back, but Utah stalls out on 4th-and-9.

TCU won't make the same mistake again. The Frogs carve five minutes out of the game on a 76-yard drive culminating in an 11-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Jimmy Young.

Utah fails to convert another drive, and TCU is in the Utes' red zone as the third quarter ends, with the Horned Frogs leading, 37-0.
