Stanford Vs. Arizona: Stanford Keeps Foot On The Pedal

Arizona’s going to need stops if it wants to get back into this game against Stanford. It isn’t getting them from the defense right now.

Andrew Luck and the Stanford offense came right back after an Arizona touchdown and scored another quick touchdown, snatching any and all momentum from the Wildcats’ paws.

The drive was keyed by another long pass to Chris Owusu, but the Cardinal got the ball into the end zone with more punishing running near the goal line. Stepfan Taylor got his third touchdown of the night on a short run, and the drive’s conclusion brought talk from Kirk Herbstreit and Brent Musburger about how coach Jim Harbaugh’s style is derived from Bo Schembechler and whether he should jump to the NFL.

At least Stanford fans don’t have to worry about losing this game.
