2011 NFL Draft Prospects: ECU’s Dwayne Harris And Willie Smith Will Be Crucial Offensive Elements

The inaugural Military Bowl, kicking off Wednesday afternoon, will feature two players in East Carolina purple with legitimate shots at having their names called in the 2011 NFL Draft. Wide receiver Dwayne Harris and offensive tackle Willie Smith will be on hand to showcase their talents for prospective future employers.

Harris has just earned first-team All-Conference USA honors for the second consecutive season. The senior from Stone Mountain, Georgia recorded his first thousand-yard season in 2010, with 1,055 yards on 93 receptions, and has averaged over 11 yards per catch each of the past three years. Harris projects as a third- to fourth-round pick.

Smith was also selected first-team all-conference for the year. With his help from the left tackle spot, the Pirates set school single-season scoring records and allowed just over one sack per game. Smith projects as a late-round selection.

The 2010 Military Bowl kicks off at 2:30 p.m. EST. Connect with Maryland fans at SB Nation's Testudo Times, and browse our complete 2010 college football postseason schedule. For more on 2011 NFL prospects, visit SB Nation's Mocking The Draft.
