Pittsburgh’s Dan Hutchins put through a 27 yard field goal to end Pittsburgh’s drought and put the score at 17-3. The injury bug continues to plague this game as Miami’s Ramon Buchanan went down with a cramp and Jacory Harris knocked the wind out of himself on the football. Nevertheless, this horrible evening for Pitt sinks even lower as Miami just threw a TD to take the lead 24-3, thus nullifying any hope Pitt had of crawling back into it with a Jacory Harris TD pass to Travis Benjamin. Again: the numbers may change, but the outcome does not. This game is over and has been for some time.
