Miami Mops Up, Seals 31-3 Win Over Pitt

Miami RB Lamar Miller stumbled in for a TD to make an already out-of-hand game even worse to take a 31-3 lead with spare change left to go in the fourth, capping a complete domination of Pitt on their home field and leaving Pitt with key injuries, questions about the soft middle of their offensive line, and doubt surrounding the effectiveness of RB Dion Lewis. The Panthers were manhandled along the lines, outrun in the secondary, and harried all night on the pass and the run by the Hurricanes as the much-maligned ACC proved one thing tonight: they can beat teams from one conference, and that conference is the Big East.
