Kevin Prince completed just five passes for 26 yards. And yet, UCLA beat Texas in Austin by 22.
Texas Vs. UCLA: Bruins Maul Longhorns, Despite Lack Of Anything Resembling Passing Game
This was a nuclear-grade meltdown for the Longhorns. UCLA ran for 265 yards against them, the most Texas has given up since November 2005. UCLA forced five turnovers. UCLA limited Texas to just one touchdown, scored in the last three minutes of the fourth quarter, and even then denied a two-point conversion.
This isn’t just a massive upset; it’s one that will be used to augur much about both a UCLA team that has come to life over the past two weeks and a Texas team that appears to be less than a shell of the team that went to Pasadena last year.
